25 years Robert Bronwasser

By 01-12-2017

For 25 years now industrial designer Robert Bronwasser has been developing products for numerous clients. He graduated with honors in Industrial Design from Delft University of Technology, and started his own industrial design studio. In 2002 he founded SMOOL and thus laid the foundation for his own studio. In 2014 Bronwasser decided to rename his studio ‘Robert Bronwasser’.

His functional and accessible consumer items with their recognizable aesthetics and a wink, make Robert Bronwasser a representative of Dutch design. Within this discipline however, he has developed his own direction, vision and signature. He is and remains an industrial designer who creates products with the end user in mind, ensuring that form and function go hand in hand.,

These products include the early designs ranging from the Ambi Pur air freshener for use in the car and the iconic Grape wine rack for the label Goods – which is still in production – to the One cup, a design for Simon Lévelt, out of which Matthijs van Nieuwkerk drinks during the TV program De Wereld Draait Door. Furthermore there are the modular seating system Corals for furniture brand Palau and the acoustic furniture for Cascando, with which numerous employees surround themselves in their offices every day, the iconic beer tap for Heineken, the IMAX scooter and the cool e-bikes for bicycle brand Qwic.
