365 + 1 DAYS – sample of Dutch graphic design
Stichting Print invited a choice selection of type designers, graphic designers, calligraphers and illustrators to provide each a date for this unique calendar book.
The rules were simple: design a spread of 306 x 230 mm, exclusively in black/white; anything goes as long as the date is readably stated somewhere. A number of graphic companies were asked to handle the production.
365+1 designers and 13 companies accepted the challenge. This has led to a monumental and surprising calendar book that shows what the Netherlands currently have to offer in the field of graphic design and illustration. Every day a new surprise by a young or somewhat older, well-known or less known designer.
