20 Autumn / Winter

SB Community
Schepers Bosman has built a strong community of music bands which are both at the heart of the inspiration and motivation for the design and purpose of the brand. For the new collection, they have opened up their brand to a two- way conversation with their network.

For AW20 this resulted in a collection of ‘workwear with show aesthetics’, where attitude is as important as the design of the garments. Every garment is directly related to a musician. ‘We re-designed workwear, suits and uniformity. Stagewear is at the core of our brand.’

The collection is created with a DIY mentality, using raw collage and patchworking techniques, manual and mechanical embroidery and handmade vinyl prints. Embroidery and patchworks are inspired by merchandise stickers and taped graphics on music gear. Schepers Bosman designs behind the machines.

The collection includes jumpsuits, unlined suits, workwear jackets, re-workerd bandshirts, raw cut shirts, oversized patched jeans, kimono cardigans, square sweats and ties. These items are made from Northern English cotton, handwashed denim, sandwash polyamide, cotton jersey, German merino and woolen wirkloden.

Hacked by_ x Schepers Bosman
For AW20, Schepers Bosman launched a collaboration with Hacked By_. Hacked by_ is a collaboration / project between renowned Dutch fashion designers Alexander van Slobbe and Francisco van Benthum. They develop contemporary collections using overstock and rest-materials of the fashion industry as resource. Schepers Bosman re-worked two exsisting Hacked By_ sweaters by using their renowned raw collage and embroidery techniques.
