After a hackathon for the municipality of The Hague I am togheter with Jonathan Looman one of the initiators of Buurtje.nu.
The concept is a shopping bag which counteracts loneliness. It’s a platform that brings the communication of neighborhood activities together at one place, a paper shopping bag. A calendar of all the neighborhood activities is printed on the bag, which is then sold to local shop owners. The local shop sale or give away the bag to there customers. Entrepeneurs can sponsor Buurtje.nu and the activities. If they sponsor there logo will be on the paper shopping bag.
The activities are for young and old, and aim to increase the social network of the elderly to counteract loneliness.
