Cecile van Eeden
Cecile van Eeden studied jewelry design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Over the years, she has exhibited in various places in the Netherlands and beyond.
Her work is characterized by a clear design language. Sizes, proportions, wearability, functionality, variants and finishing have always been researched extensively. The shapes are simple and therefore carried out with a high level of perfection.
She has always considered it a challenge to design pieces of jewelry that are accessible to everyone; this idea has led her to design many pieces of jewelry in silver and carry them out in small series. These pieces of jewelry found their way to people through art galleries, jewelry shops and interior and design stores.
Silver has always remained one of her favorite materials and higher quality materials have proved to be grateful for ideas that fit in her artistic development. Since the year 2000, she has been managing her own shop/gallery in the Eindhoven region.
