Cherished
‘Cherished’ is Diederik Schneemann’s latest project. Starting point was the concept of collecting. Often old collections that people gathered and cherished for decades now lay wasting away in attics or basements. These collections evoke a certain era, early memories, or youth sentiment. Think matchboxes, pins, perfume bottles or smurfs. Schneemann transformed these collections into new objects to cherish.
