“My work rises from my curiousity about people and how they are interacting with the world around them. My sculptures relate and reflect to the environment in which we live, and visualize my ideas and thoughts with a twist.
In a subtle manner and with humor, the sculptures transform situations which, at the first glance, seem impossible and too difficult to change. And they take unexpected turns. One of my goals is to visualize the narratives in the most concise way possible. I want to seduce the visitor to (re-)think these (common) situations. To show him or her an ordinary situation, problem, action from a different perspective.”
