Design District
Design District is an annual meeting point for the Dutch Interior industry. On June 1, 2 and 3, the Hembrug area in Zaandam is for the fifth time the setting for this trade event. Established brands, newcomers, and independent designers from home and abroad show their best products at an inspiring location.
This year, a lot of new items, sometimes straight from Milan, are to be presented on the trade floor. In the adjacent Pand43, you can attend free lectures given by BNI, Lighting Design Academy, FMN, BNS Crisp and the Center for People and Buildings. At the Hembrug area, other tenants such as Dirk Vander Kooij and Flinders open their doors especially for Design District visitors. The garden of Taets along the North Sea Canal offers a wonderful backdrop for the presentation of outdoor furniture and is the ideal place to have a drink and to meet professionals in related fields.
