Design to Market
Our province Brabant is bursting with talented designers. Creative and successful designers, with a diploma from Design Academy, art academy or TU/e in their pocket. They make their first steps to the market here, in Brabant. Design to Market links design talents to companies and is a tailor-made talent development programme for designers. It is the official Brabant TalentHub for design: an accredited accelerator programme organised by a partnership of Designforum, the Dutch Design Foundation, Museum van Bommel van Dam, Designmuseum Den Bosch, Discovery Museum and the Kazerne. The programme is made possible by Kunstloc and the Province of Noord-Brabant.
With the programme, talented designers who have graduated from college or university are supported practically in their development into entrepreneurs. The economic position of the designer is developed through training, coaching and network meetings.
For companies, the programme is an opportunity to get acquainted with design talent and techniques such as Design Thinking in an accessible way. How do the young designers see existing business processes and projects? With what kind of surprising concepts would they storm the market from your company?
Design to Market is supported by (semi)governmental bodies, the business community, and institutions that use design to find new solutions for existing questions, that want to interpret the future in order to set a course, that want to be more user-oriented, or that want a fresh view on ‘Design Driven Innovation’. In all cases, it is about increasing support for new products, services, research and innovations.
