Eidola marble tiles

By 12-05-2021

Del Savio 1910 reinterprets a centuries-old artisanal tradition of creating marble tiles. The graphic design and the combination of different pastel colours of the Eidola collection convey an oneiric feeling: the graceful drawings, which create a subtle optic illusion, could either be used separately or mixed together to form an intriguing composition. This collection uses hard materials and an emotional language. In this product, soft shades and dark tones blend together, as round and linear shapes do.

Myth is characterised by a geometric pattern shaping up to be sort of a stairway, while the motif of Vision and Icon can be iterated horizontally or vertically. The units are 30×30 and 60×60 respectively and can be assembled to create large slabs.

This project, lead under the art direction of the Zanellato/Bortotto studio, aims to celebrate and reaffirm the uniqueness, the authenticity, and the value of craftmanship.

Del Savio Marmi
On the anniversary marking the 110th years from the inauguration of the company, Del Savio Marmi reinvents itself to become Del Savio 1910. The new-found atelier develops the ancient art of Palladian flooring – a technique at the core of the former family-run business –, to valorise its distinguishing traits with a contemporary touch.
