Magazine for the good taste
A private builder is someone who builds without a client, without a contractor and mostly without an architect. Private builders build mainly for themselves. The private builder’s taste is the guiding principle. It is the private builder who evades the many rules that usually determine the practice and force him into a straitjacket. This indicates the intention of the editors of Eigenbouwer (Private Builder), Magazine for the good taste.

Eigenbouwer (Private Builder) appears irregularly and is open to cultural-historical contributions on architecture, visual art, interior art, literature, design and so on.

Single issues cost € 12.50 (including shipping) and can be ordered at Hans Oldewarris (oldewarris@box.nl).

Editors: Herman van Bergeijk, Sjoerd van Faassen, Hans Oldewarris
