Enlightened Circular Economy

By 11-04-2019

ONE WEEK ABOUT Dutch Designers in Milan by Connecting the Dots

At Design Language, designer Morgan Ruben exhibits his graduation project, which he developed during his master’s course in engineering at the Technical University Eindhoven.

Morgan Rubens’ slim and innovative lamp combines 3D-printed recycled materials and smart technology. Its design allows you to take it apart easily and put it back together in a new shape to best harmonize it with its surroundings. Its circular economy technology – which is gaining more and more appreciation in the Netherlands, one of the most eco-friendly countries in the world – guarantees low energetic impact, making it as green as it can be. Last but not least, the lamps contain a chip that sends a notification to the manufacturer when it needs reparations or replacement of a part. With this lamp, all you need to worry about is how to best flaunt it.
