Fraké panel

By 15-03-2023

A durable and sophisticated facade finish for architects, designers and builders.

Fraké panel is a product for finishing or renovating exterior facades. Also very suitable for making fences. The panels are made from a waste stream of preserved Fraké wood. This means that the wood has been treated so that it can hang outside without further protection (paint, varnish or stain).

The idea for these panels arose during the design and construction of Casa Nova, a Tiny House that has now found its permanent home in Den Helder. The house was designed from the idea that it could be moved like a block. With this starting point it became possible to think and build from the workshop of Supple. This is nice and practical but also a lot more sustainable.

Through smart technology, the home is self-sufficient. It generates its own electricity and captures rainwater for use as shower and drinking water. The facade is clad in Fraké panels and the colored top edge is made from old desk tops.
