Hacked by H&M
H&M has entered into a special partnership with the Dutch HACKED by_. Designers Alexander van Slobbe and Francisco van Benthum created from their design vision a completely new women’s collection that takes an entirely new H&M selection of garments from the SALE as a starting point. Victoria Koblenko, in favor of more sustainable fashion, is the face of the collection.
The collection for H&M is produced in the studio of i-did, a social enterprise where new design products are made from non-wearable clothing and textiles by people who have been dependent on social welfare for quite a long time. Through the trajectory at i-did the participants are assisted in finding jobs elsewhere. In this way, textile raw materials are reused and small-scale production in the participants’ own country is made possible. The clothing collections are made exclusively for Hacked by_.
From Thursday, February 14 onwards, Hacked by H&M is exclusively for sale in the flagship store in Amsterdam.
