Hans Robertus (1952), designer

Hans Robertus graduated from the Eindhoven Academy of Industrial Design in 1978. He got his first job as a designer at Gemini Design in Eindhoven. One year later he switched to Océ van der Grinten. Together with Louis Lücker and John Lippinkhof (design team Océ van der Grinten) he received the Kho Liang Ie prize in 1985. He joined Philips Design in 1991, where he held various management positions. He became the director of the Dutch Design Week in May 2009, leaving Philips Design later that year. He was also the creative director of the Design Cooperation Brainport. In 2011, he was appointed board member of Design Management Europe. He became partners with Holland Branding Group in Eindhoven and in that year he also joined Designlink in Amsterdam as a strategic partner.

The Louis Kalff Instituut is the Dutch heritage centre for industrial design, located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
