Het Boekenfront

By 24-01-2022

Het Boekenfront is an alliance of specialists in the field of publication design and printing. They design tangible publications about visual culture with a focus on architecture(history), design & urban culture. Their goal is to inform about visual culture and its creators with carefully designed and sustainable publications.

Their name represents what they stand for as a collective; A collective in the vanguard of the profession. Defending the importance of the tangible publication in a digital world.

Stephan Lerou
“The idea for The Book Front had been playing in my head for a while. In 2019 I closed my design studio after 10 years to focus fully on brand strategy. But I started to miss the tangible, the paper, the ink,…. I have a great passion for print and for the tangible book in particular. During the first lockdown, I found the time and peace to further develop the idea for The Book Front. Now, in addition to my work as a strategist, I can work with the collective on beautiful book productions.”

Collective
