Illustratie Biënnale Haarlem

By 04-06-2016

The Illustratie Biënnale is a biennial festival for illustrators, fellow professionals, clients, publishers and lovers of graphic art. On Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5, there is a versatile program in the Toneelschuur in Haarlem. Inspiring presentations, a digital exhibition, a pop-up museum shop and much, much more.

Peter van Straaten opens the Illustration Biennale 2016 on Saturday at 11:30 am in the foyer of the Toneelschuur. The multiplicity of the discipline is proved by the line-up of illustrators who present their work from 12 pm onwards in the great hall: Piet Paris (fashion), Noma Bar from England (editorial), Sigrid Calon (graphic patterns), Ellen Mandemaker (spatial), Job, Joris & Marieke (animation), Henning Wagenbreth from Germany (graphic, font design), Harriet van Reek (picture books), Monobanda PLAY (3D, games), Daniela Treija (photographic illustration), Pieter van Eenoge from Belgium (editorial , book) and Floor Rieder (illustrated interviews and book illustration).

Jellie Brouwer (NPS Kunststof) presents the program, for which there are still a number of tickets available at the Toneelschuur www.toneelschuur.nl/node/1643
