One Week About Dutch Designers in Milan, curated by Ventura Projects / Organisation in Design
Especially for Ventura Future designers/artists Jelle Mastenbroek, Daniel de Bruin en Bas Bakx will collaborate on a site specific project with the illustrious title J8D-001001-s. They will create a new, interactive and playful experience in which the spectator becomes the object of the exhibition and will be the subject of manipulation.
Jelle Mastenbroek is one of those engaged artists that in a playful way forces the visitor on topical subjects. For Dutch Design Week he showcased the installation the ‘Data Orchestra’. People were encouraged to swap personal information for music. Daniel de Bruin is the mastermind behind the ‘Neurotransmitter 3000’, his vision on what remains of us as makers if all our work has been taken over by machines.
According to Bas Bakx curiosity is the strongest driver of interaction. It motivates him to create design that works from a multitude of viewpoints.
