Materials from the old KLM World Business Class (WBC) interior were recycled last year by students of the Design Academy Eindhoven, who used them to create new travel items.
Fourteen students from the Man & Identity department of the Design Academy Eindhoven led by Hella Jongerius took part in the project. The materials used for these prototypes were at least 70 percent recycled. The eight most striking prototypes were on show in the window displays of Dutch department store De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam.
The campaign was created by creative agency DDB & Tribal Worldwide, Amsterdam.
