The New Shopping Bag
When Bertjan and Susan teamed up for the first time, three years ago, they released a collection of bags using six different colours. The collection was very well received all around the world and sold out quickly. Danish Design brand HAY took notice and launched a follow-up collection in 2019, entitled The Six Colour Bag by SUSAN BIJL for HAY.
Susan Bijl: “Three years after our first collaboration, we teamed up again with Bertjan Pot. The result is a collection that is even more colourful than previous one. For this collection, we have released a special edition of The New Shopping Bag, which couldn’t be more festive. With the typical wit of his designs, Bertjan added fringes to the side and bottom seams of our shopping bag.”
