Next Step Program
Next Step Program is a program dedicated to emerging design talent in architecture. For young architects with innovative ideas that depict the power of architecture for the future of the city. This third edition is a collaboration between BNA, Royal Institute of Dutch Architects, and Project developer Synchroon.
Next Step Award 2019
The four finalists are: Atelier Van Berlo, Beta, Overtreders W and Urban Echoes.The award consists of a cash prize of €10,000 and a construction assignment by Synchroon on a metropolitan hotspot. The winner will be announced on November 14th during the BNA Architectendag in Utrecht.
Overtreders W
Overtreders W break with their projects in a groundbreaking way through the traditional building column with their vision on rent and use of materials and circularity. This agency realizes inspiring designs and also acts as a process coordinator and product developer; their inspiring approach of, for example, plastic waste is of high societal relevance.
