Ouwe is a portrait of a group of young people in park De Oude Haven (a.k.a. Ouwe) in Hilversum, a park like the ones you find everywhere in the Netherlands. If you are young in pandemic times, this is the place where you come together, while the official line is one of distance. Young people are overlooked in this corona crisis. You want to explore, experiment, make friends and fall in love but have to stay inside and keep your distance. The medical risk for this group is small and the criticism for not following the rules is strong. This series shows what the summer of 2020 was like for a group of young people who meet every day in this park.
