Plain Paper, the Surface Issue
Plain Paper is a new English-language magazine about paper. In this first issue the theme ‘paper and surface’ is explored in depth.
The magazine includes contributions from Ruth van Beek, Vincent Bijlo, Stephan Keppel, Cindy Moorman and Underware. Especially for this edition each of them has made a contribution produced on different paper grades and with a wide range of graphic techniques. The magazine also contains a cutout from the legendary magazine Barbarber.
The new magazine will be presented during the Plain Paper Party, on 2 February in Studio-K in Amsterdam-Oost (Amsterdam East). All participating companies will be present at this festive event to show examples of their work.
Plain Paper appears once a year and is an initiative of Philip Stroomberg (Stroomberg) and Esther Krop (De Monsterkamer).
