The Bird
Paco Raphael introduces The Bird, an exclusive design light. With this new work, the designer/artist builds a bridge between product design and his conceptual pop art.
The light owes its name to two steel wings that can unfold to allow the full light intensity on the table top. By folding its wings the light is dimmed, which creates a more intimate atmosphere. The Bird has been created in collaboration with product designer Jelle Engel.
Raphael: “Every light hides on the inside of its wings a reflector of its own with different graphic artwork.Think of it as a surprise, a special touch like a suit with a tailor-made lining.”
The Bird is available in a length of 1.50 m. and in a span of 35 to 20 cm.
