The Story of Hajo
From Form: “For Dutch department store Hema we created ‘The Story of Hajo’, one of 37 portraits about true Hema fans. We let Hajo’s love for the famous Hema smoked sausage come to life in this 30” animation. Using a combination of animation and hand-painted textures, we created a Matisse-esque world from sausages, suitcases and plates.”
Halal, Sweet & Hema joined forces to tell 37 real Hema stories by its fans. A team of artists, directors and animators were responsible for crafting individualized formats according to each story, reflecting the diversity of Hema’s consumers.
