Tinyboat
Just as they did when we were kids, our toys continue to play an important role in our adult lives, only today our toys disguise themselves as cars, televisions, mobile phones and so on. We take pride in our new stuff, but we wouldn’t dare call them toys any longer. Erik Stehmann’s designs however, can be called toys and may be enjoyed as such. You are never too old to play!
Tinyboat is a one-person boat, fully electric and fully functional. “I have a small house and a small car, but I love to be on the water, so I needed a small boat: a Tinyboat.” It is a lightweight boat made from polyester fiberglass and a wooden cabin and dashboard. There is plenty of storage space for sandwiches, a spare battery, an umbrella or whatever you’d prefer to take with you on your very own private yacht.
