Leendert Meets Ingrid

By 11-11-2015

The work of illustrators Leendert Masselink and Ingrid Bockting for newspapers, magazines and such usually ends up in the wastepaper bin. The label Leendert Meets Ingrid has been established to create lasting products. The first results are a series of six silk shawls and kitchen textiles.

Retro styles and modern drawing techniques come together in a classic look with a touch of humor. Masselink and Bockting maintain control over the production – the high resolution print is made in the South of the Netherlands and the classic round edging in Germany.

In addition to the shawls, the label also offers stylish kitchen textiles. The items have been commissioned by the Textile Museum Tilburg and purchased by the FIT Museum for Fashion and Technology in New York. Shawls, tea towels, table cloth and giclée prints can be obtained through Leendertmeetsingrid.com.
