Berit collection
A private client commissioned Studio Ineke Hans to design wooden furniture for her very small private island in The Netherlands.
Ineke Hans: “The request and the outcome was really a joy for us. The client was very happy as well and pleased to let us make the furniture part of our collection. For the island the furniture was stained black, but we liked the natural colour of the furniture very much and took that on as the standard. The tables make a nice set with the benches that fit underneath and line up with their backs very nicely. The wide chaise longue is an enjoyable seat for two.”
The Berit collection is made out of Accoya, a non-tropical wood that is ecologically impregnated and because of that has a guarantee of 50 years for outdoor use. All pieces are for sale in any size and width, in plain wood and colours.
