DUF
DUF is a ‘book magazine’ for teenagers, launched by graphic designer Suzanne Hertogs and editor Petra Boers. The first issue appeared in 2006. DUF 3 appeared recently.
DUF about itself: “In 300 dazzling pages, DUF offers 12-18-year-olds timeless inspiration about life, friendship, art, science, religion, psyche, sex and love. In a mix of short stories, articles, reports, interviews with young people, comics, tips, columns, photos, puzzles, poetry, short tests, interesting facts, DIY- and anti-boredom pages, and much more.”
DUF 3 is entitled ‘Waanwijs’: “How to make sense of the (media) whimsies of the day? How can you see through the tricks of all those sly spin-doctors, (s)experts, neuro-marketers and social network suckers? DUF Waanwijs is a smashing, unconventional book magazine for today’s curious screenager. In 300 wireless pages, Waanwijs reveals to you the biggest secrets about surviving in this media-manic era.
