Walter van Beirendonck: “The menswear jury was unanimous in their decision. Jonathan entered the room with a clear fashion focus. All jury members could appreciate his innovative use of Merino Wool. He fully complied with all our criteria showing the very best in wool, and he convinced us with his vision.”

Jonathan Christopher on his winning the final: “Being presented this award by a renowned jury and considering all the designers who preceded me, is indescribable. Wool plays an important role in my collections. It is so versatile. I’m currently working with a wool denim, one of the most topical and innovative trends in wool.”
