The Big Draw – Vincent de Boer

Museum Arnhem

Exhibition | Graphic | Craft

The Big Draw is a global drawing event that takes place every year. In cities all over the world, people are invited to come together and draw. Here in Arnhem, we’re also opening our doors to everyone to experience the power of drawing to connect people.

Vincent de Boer
At Museum Arnhem, artist Vincent de Boer is presented in collaboration with The Big Draw Nederland. His work, rooted in calligraphy, explores the expressive power of the brushstroke. With a unique blend of focus, technique, and intuition, he creates art across various media, from paper to murals and live performances. His hand-drawn animated film The Stroke won the debut award at the Netherlands Film Festival, and his work is exhibited worldwide.

About The Big Draw
From 6 to 29 September, The Big Draw took place; an annual global event that puts drawing in the spotlight. Art is the starting point, but the aim is broader: to encourage connection, inclusion, and creativity. Through accessible projects, The Big Draw brings together people of all ages and cultures. In this way, drawing becomes a universal language that connects. This exhibition takes place from until 26 October.
