Unseen Amsterdam closed its 2018 edition on Sunday 23 September 2018. Over the course of four days, Amsterdam became the capital of contemporary photography, welcoming over 25,000 visitors. Boasting innovative additions to its programme, ambitious presentations of new international photographic talent from around the world and considerable sales both to private collectors and institutions internationally. Unseen Amsterdam excelled once again, proving itself to be the leading platform for contemporary photography.
Exclusively focusing on what’s new in the world of contemporary photography, Unseen Amsterdam continued to provide a channel for up-and-coming talent as well as established artists to showcase their work via the galleries and programme elements including CO-OP, Exhibitions, the Book Market, the Living Room, Talent Development Programmes and numerous interactive elements. Importantly, it brought the international photography community together, once again, to discuss and debate the directions in which the photographic medium is evolving.
