ONE WEEK ABOUT Driving Dutch Design by curators Patrick Aarts Sen (BNO) and Katja Lucas (DDF)
Driving Dutch Design is the professionalisation and networking programme of ABN AMRO, Beroepsorganisatie Nederlandse Ontwerpers (BNO) and Dutch Design Foundation (DDF) that helps talented designers get started in the world of entrepreneurship. Papa Ferrari is one of them.
Papa Ferrari (Sander Verbeek) is an artist, illustrator, and designer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His unmistakable style is best described as bold pencil-drawn lines with bright and playful colors.
He developed his style in 2017 while living in Mexico City. Inspired by the colorful culture of Mexico and by collaborating with local artists, galleries, and businesses.
The work of Papa Ferrari includes illustration, 2D animation, artwork, design and is exhibited internationally.
