As a reply to what the role of textile could be in today’s digitizing world, Fenna van der Klei suggests sensory material and product answers. The studio’s latest collection‘(r)evolutionary textiles’ is a result of research on human perception and the power of colour to spark interactive moments. The pleated elements of the standing textile-screens change appearance when you move around it – shaping an intriguing interplay with the spectator. By translating the designs into interior textiles, the studio implements the effect into our living environments and strives to stimulate the relationship between human, material and space.
