David Heldt

David studied design at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Enschede, and worked five years as a furniture designer in Amsterdam after he did the master program Design Futures at Goldsmiths University of London in 2004.

David (co-)founded various international activities to communicate Dutch design-culture abroad, such as The Dutch New Innovators (Japan 2000), Tuttobene (Milan 2006-2012), Connecting the Dots magazine (Milan 2009-2019), and Enlightened Design (London 2015-2018). In 2020 David co-founded the design-route GLUE amsterdam connected by design. Recently also organized the curated group exhibition SOLIDIFIED during the Milan Design Week.
