Katja Lucas 

Katja Lucas studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven, where she developed her passion for design and collaborations. After her studies, she worked as a designer at various strategic design and innovation agencies. Since 2003, Katja has worked for the Dutch Design Foundation (DDF) and was responsible for the content of Dutch Design Week for 15 years.

Now she is senior project manager at Design Works and works on the professionalisation and networking programme Driving Dutch Design, which helps designers become entrepreneurs. She is also responsible for DDW Young, to interest young people in creative professions.

Katja is also a facilitator and mentor for tailor-made projects and learning programmes at Universiteit Utrecht, Fontys ArtCoDe and the In mijn Buurt foundation.
