Pao Lien Djie

Pao Lien Djie (b. 1968) is a design and art historian based in Amsterdam. She currently works as a curator, journalist, editor, consultant and project manager.

She was longtime managing editor of the Dutch design magazine Items. For the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, she worked as content project assistant on several exhibitions. As co-curator, she was responsible for curating the exhibition on Studio Drift. She also worked there for some time as acting curator of industrial and applied design. For the BNO, she was guest editor-in-chief of Dutch Designers Magazine and contributes as an author and consultant to several editions of the Dutch Designers Yearbook.

Pao Lien is a member of the National Committee Visual Arts and Design Advisory of the Cultuurfonds and a board member of ArtTable Nederland.
