Today the website anthonbeeke.nl was launched, making the most important work of the leading designer Anthon Beeke generally accessible. The images can be enlarged so that all details become visible. The texts accompanying the work are by Anthon Beeke himself and thus provide insight into his view and method. The site also offers interviews with and articles about Anthon. There is a news section, an extensive CV and information about the Anthon Beeke Archives Foundation. There is a Dutch and an English version
Designer and photographer Anthon Beeke passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2018. He left an extensive archive that is now housed in the “Archive Anthon Beeke” foundation. The foundation will manage, preserve and make accessible its archive. The website is an important first step in this, for which the work of Anthon Beeke has now been digitized. Most of his work is housed here and will be supplemented in the future.
