The book Blind Walls Gallery: Het Museum Op Straat (The Museum On the Street) takes you past 90 impressive murals. Each of them is inspired by a story about Breda, together they form a painted history of our city. In this book you will discover everything about the paintings and the forgotten stories about the city – about a mayor with the courage of a lion, the lost treasures of Vincent van Gogh and the most beautiful pigeon of Breda.

This book contains the first five years of paintings and centuries of stories. The work of international celebrities such as ESPO, Frau Isa, Otecki, Jaune, Akacorleone, Fin DAC, Ben Eine and local heroes such as Zenk One, Hedof, Joren Joshua, Staynice, Ilse Weisfelt and Maaike Canne is explained extensively in text and image.

The book contains more than 340 pages with extensive information about the inspiration, the creative process and the artists as well as splendid archival images from the Municipal Archives of Breda. Wall to wall, the book makes the invisible stories of Breda visible. Also the archival images from the Municipal Archive of Breda. Also the complex and innovative preparation that precedes each painting and the impact on the city are highlighted from a unique perspective.

The first edition of the book is already sold out but you can now pre-order the second edition via blindwalls.gallery/book
