Winner Gold – European Design Awards 2022 Category Music / Film Cover
This design is a special edition double vinyl to mark the release of the Future Static album by Coloray, in transparent vinyl and screen printed custom transparent gatefold sleeve. The gatefold comes with a matte black cover card, a card containing digital download information and a transparent plastic protective film. The transparency allows the beholder to look beyond the first layer, and the interaction with the vinyls changes the way you view the design and information. Also the surroundings you see through the design influences the way it can be perceived.
The multi-layered design is part of a virtual music experience, of the same title. The songs will be translated into a live show and interactive music experience on your phone and desktop (www.future-static.com). In this show, online visitors will be able to get lost inside the mind of an AI and embark on a journey with a Coloray performance.
