The tenth edition of Designday takes place in Maastricht from May 15 through May 17. Designday is an unconventional platform for designers who design as well as make their concepts themselves.
The event is held at the historic industrial Decorfabriek in Maastricht. The list of participants is impressive, with people such as Leonie Tenthof van Noorden, the brothers Jesse and Aron Kirschner, Jesse Howard and Diederik Schneemann.
The designers tell and show the visitors on the site how they intend to proceed. Their unique concepts are produced in limited edition, with sustainability as a sympathetic underlying theme. The event also presents a design auction, lunchtime lectures and pitches.
