Last Friday, industrial designers finally got the answer to that one question, “Where has that fine (former) colleague, promising intern or fun fellow student gone?” Because they were all there. Well, almost all of them.
After two years of absence, the BNO organized the Dutch Industrial Design Borrel again on Friday, June 27. And we didn’t do it alone. Together with Designlink, Brandes en Meurs, FLEX/design, GK Design Europe, ipv Delft, MODYN, npk design, WAACS and Wouter Konings of SLIMDESIGN, we invited industrial designers to catch up with former colleagues, fellow students and professional friends – and to meet new designers.

The result was a thoroughly enjoyable reception in the crowded courtyard of The West India House in Amsterdam, the place where New Amsterdam was founded 400 years ago. Networking and laughter continued late into the evening. On to the next edition. Happy summer everyone!

The Association of Dutch Designers (BNO) is the largest community of designers and design firms in the Netherlands. We provide knowledge, inspiration and growth opportunities for professional designers in all disciplines, at every stage of their careers and however they are organized. In addition, we are the voice of designers towards clients and politics.
