During GLUE, H57 turns into a HUB for Art & Design. Permanent residents Het Groenlab and The Millen House open the doors to their spaces. Het Groenlab will show their latest projects. The Millen House presents 5 X Rietveld, featuring work by Gerrit Rietveld and four of his children and contemporary designers.
The centre space of H57 will be taken over by upcoming talents Jule Cats, Rutger de Regt, Larissa Schepers and Finnish designer Hemmo Honkonen.
The Millen House
Discover the legacy of Gerrit Rietveld and his talented family at The Millen House in Amsterdam. This unique exhibition, 5 X Rietveld, marks the first time in over 30 years that the creative works of Rietveld’s four children—architect Jan Rietveld, painter Bep Rietveld, furniture maker Gerrit Rietveld Jr., and industrial designer Wim Rietveld—are showcased alongside their father’s iconic designs.

Het Groenlab
We research, conceptualize, and create. Het Groenlab consists of a passionate and driven team with an obsession for nature. Our expertise lies in developing visions, creating green concepts, and crafting advisory and planting plans for both indoor and outdoor spaces. We enjoy collaborating with architects, interior designers, and landscape architects to come up with beautiful creative solutions and offer an integrated and holistic approach to green living and working environments.

Jule Cats

In her designs, she searches for the value of materials that usually goes unnoticed or is seen as worthless. Her objects show the beauty of recycled and natural resources, evoke wonder and curiosity and offer food for thought.

Hemmo Honkonen
Hemmo Honkonen is a Finnish designer based in Helsinki, Finland. He holds a masters degree in Interior Architecture from Aalto University (2021) and a bachelors degree in Furniture Design from Linköping University – Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies (2017). Rutger de Regt
Multi-disciplinary designer Rutger de Regt is a maker, a modern craftsman whose urge for creation has led to a highly individual body of work. Driven by an intuitive approach, De Regt works in a vast range of materials, exploring different techniques and mediums by constantly pushing the limits of design. His well-received collection “Mommy I Made an Ashtray” explores the possibilities of the traditional medium of clay in an intuitive and unconventional way.

Larissa Schepers
Larissa Schepers is an artist based in Tilburg, the Netherlands. As Tilburg being a former textile city, Schepers focusses on using textile techniques to produce her works. With a fascination for beads she uses different techniques such as weaving, knitting and embroidery to portray her message. Living in a time area where the pace of time is meant to move as fast as possible, Schepers prefers to slow down. Her works are produced by hand, and she values the knowledge of the forgotten crafts.
