I think everybody can relate to those uncomfortable situations where bike riders are checking their mobile phones while driving through traffic. Now there is a solution: Hammerhead Navigation. It offers a navigation solution for cyclists that contributes to safer traffic.
The juries at Cannes Lions look for entries that are a solution for a real problem (and in the category Cyber: a digital solution), and also know how to tell a case story clearly. Also, Hammerhead is an innovative product that R/GA brought out themselves, without a client brief – the jury may have liked that aspect too.
The case won gold in the category Cyber– Craft/User Experience.
