The Polish designers of Modulus are specialised in designing digital icons. Pictograms that are clear at a single glance and can be easily comprehended. An age-old wish to utilise a universal (visual) language, is being fulfilled thanks to the smartphone revolution. The past decades, the icons on your screen have been developed rapidly.
To freshen up your memory, Modulus created a scrollytelling that they -especially for Graphic Matters- translated to a spatial infographic with a historic overview of graphic interfaces of various operating systems.
‘History of Icons’ was part of Graphic Matters festival 2019 in Breda.
