Imagination Machine

Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam

ONE WEEK ABOUT E-culture by curator Bert Hagendoorn

One of the winning cases at Cannes Lions was Imagination Machine by Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, which was also featured on the Dutch Digital Design platform. It’s a great example of a case where digital design, technology and the real world come together.

The idea behind it was that your dream location is closer then you think. The only thing you need is your imagination and an airline: the Russian airline company S7. In collaboration with webdesign agency Tellart, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam made an interactive installation that could transform your brain into a game controller. With your brainwaves you could control it via EEG sensors: if you concentrated hard enough you could reach your destination and win a flight to that location.
