Introducing Graphic Matters. Earlier this year it was announced that the biannual Graphic Design Festival Breda continues as Graphic Matters. The name isn’t the only thing that changed. The previous 5 editions activities were spread all over the city, now everything takes place at one central location (Parade 12 – in and around the Chassé Kazerne). The programme consists of in- and outdoor exhibitions, workshops, lectures and guided tours. This years it will be held from September 22nd until October 22nd.
Shut Up Speak Up!
This year’s theme; ‘Shut Up Speak Up!’ is all about current issues depicted by over 200 international designers. In this fascinating time, designers can make a difference! No longer do they have to sell their souls to commercial clients. Today, they can speak up for issues that matter.
Next to the biannual festival Graphic Matters has several continuous activities in Breda, like the Blind Walls Gallery (murals throughout the city) and the 3sec.gallery (drive-by gallery at Chassé Parking).
