Philzuid (formerly known as philharmonie zuidnederland) is celebrating their 10 years anniversary with a new name and corporate identity as well as a festive symphonic program for all to enjoy.
Philzuid is the symphony orchestra of the South of the Netherlands who challenges the norm of a classic symphonic orchestra to reach out to all ages of their audience and beyond. Their reach is not limited to the south of the Netherland (regions from Eindhoven to Maastricht) but can be enjoyed at home and even abroad, radiating out happiness and creating unforgettable experiences with their symphonic music.
These unforgettable experiences, emotions and movement within the music was the inspiration for the creative translation of the new logo and corporate identity. The natural flow and feel of the music lends itself to animation and expressive forms of the typography. Creating the powerful emotions desired by the music. Philzuid, Philgood, Philmagic, Philmagic, Philpower etc.
These emotions can be described by words but also with colours. Choosing high level bright colours referring back to the southern cultural heritage with the lush yellow bordering on gold makes the corporate identity complete and recognisable.
