Polina Baikina (Studio laVina) previously designed various nettle products and objects in collaboration with Varvara Lazareva. As a follow-up, she focuses on sustainability and circularity. The stem of the nettle is rich in cellulose and offers a wide range of applications in combination with bioplastic. With TNO’s new Torwash technology, these materials can be separated and recycled into original raw materials for reuse.
