Chamber gallery dedicated a presentation to the work of Studio Job at the Armory Show in New York. It contained a selection of their creative work over the past decade.
Bavaria Mirror – In Studio Job’s ‘Bavaria’, we return to Eden – or at least an animated, naively happy, storybook rendition of paradise, inspired by 17th and 18th century Bavarian hand-painted furniture.
Piece for Peace – Made in association with the Belgian crystal producer Val Saint Lambert as a centerpiece for the Cabinet of Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council in Brussels for one year.
Horse Bust – Chess piece for Jeff Koons. Studio Job used a Nilfisk GM 80 P vacuum as a bust, available in either bronze or brass. Job: “I love Jeff Koons and I love Nilfisk. It’s such a high quality vacuum cleaner!”
